陳夏，1966年生，福建省莆田人。國家一級美術(shù)師、文化部中華文化遺產(chǎn)保護傳承大師、中國世紀(jì)大采風(fēng)書畫院常務(wù)副院長、中華衛(wèi)視藝術(shù)風(fēng)采欄目組藝術(shù)總監(jiān)、央媒文化組委會藝術(shù)顧問、央廣國際文化交流藝術(shù)委員會副主席、中國楹聯(lián)學(xué)會書法藝術(shù)研究會副秘書長、中國詩書畫家網(wǎng)藝術(shù)家委員會副主席、黃河文化書畫院院士、中華文化遺產(chǎn)保護書畫委員會委員。榮獲華夏國寶——中華優(yōu)秀傳統(tǒng)文化傳承人物稱號，榮獲中央數(shù)字電視國學(xué)頻道精彩中華欄目組“中國驕傲·精彩中華榜樣藝術(shù)家”榮譽稱號。

2020年1月受邀出席中央電視臺演播大廳錄制的國際中國公益事業(yè)大典，榮獲“我和我的祖國2019年度國際中國藝壇領(lǐng)軍人物”榮譽稱號。同年應(yīng)邀出席參加2020全球華夏之星春節(jié)聯(lián)歡晚會的錄制，現(xiàn)場登臺揮毫潑墨，被授予“最具藝術(shù)造詣”榮譽稱號。作品《大展鴻圖》被全球華夏之星春晚組委會收藏。2021年5月應(yīng)出席“2021年品牌強國論壇”，被授予“中國書畫界2021年度十大品牌創(chuàng)新人物”榮譽獎項，2022年5月由央視主持人代言《中國文化人物》節(jié)目錄制并授予榮譽勛章，同年6月受邀參加CCTV《國貨優(yōu)品》欄目評選，被授予“中國文化品牌人物”。

陳夏的藝術(shù)深含他自身的修為、學(xué)識、胸懷、睿智、才華的品格，搜盡奇峰打草稿，師古而不泥古，求新而不取寵，極富傳統(tǒng)又出新意，令人心悸神奪，遐想無邊。運用藝術(shù)語言時，充分發(fā)揮自己豐富的想象力和創(chuàng)造性，采用濃墨重彩，大膽地將豐富的色彩應(yīng)用于傳統(tǒng)書畫作品的創(chuàng)作上。為了追求美的視覺效果，達(dá)到人與自然和諧，借鑒傳統(tǒng)的潑墨潑彩法，追求色彩的豐富性。貫穿全圖的是他強烈的真摯感情。寫景寫情，既發(fā)揮了自己長于寫生和掌握堅實造型技巧的優(yōu)勢，又運用勾、勒、點、擦、皴、染的筆墨功力，在黑白、色彩、虛實、濃淡中賦予造型以動感和韻味，每一幅都追求審美的極致。

He was honored with the title of "Huaxia National Treasure -- Excellent Chinese Traditional Culture Inheritor" and the honorary title of "Pride of China · Excellent Chinese Model Artist" in the wonderful Chinese column group of Central Digital TV Sinology Channel.
